About This Project

The Aga Khan Museum celebrates Muslim culture and history from all over the world, bringing exhibitions, performance, and symposium under one iconic roof. The museum prides itself on being a cultural bridge between east and west. The museum’s second YIR was designed to build on the first, showcasing their growth and in particular bring attention to the plight and culture of Syria, a prominent initiative that year. The review celebrated the diverse offerings over the past year while giving a hint as to what was to come the following year. It re-enforced the growing brand, expanded on their mission, and projected their cultural promise.
